What is the difference between a Greyhound ticket and a travel pass?

The Whimit Travel Pass gives you unlimited travel for a set number of consecutive days, making it a flexible way to explore Australia. You can choose between two main options depending on your journey:

  • East Coast Whimit Travel Pass: Enjoy unlimited travel along Australia’s East Coast for the number of days you select. This pass covers popular destinations between Byron Bay and Cairns, allowing you to hop on and off at your leisure. It’s perfect if you’re planning to experience the beaches, cities, and attractions of the East Coast.

  • National Whimit Travel Pass: Take your adventure further with unlimited travel on Greyhound’s entire national network for the chosen period. This pass lets you explore routes across all major cities and regional areas, from the tropical north to the urban south. Whether you want to see the Outback, visit capital cities, or tour Australia’s iconic sights, the National Whimit Travel Pass gives you the freedom to design your own itinerary.

Both passes offer the flexibility to choose the number of days that best suits your trip. For the East Coast network, you can select between seven and forty-five days, while the national network offers passes from fifteen up to forty-five days. This means you can tailor your travel to fit your schedule and budget, whether you’re planning a quick getaway or a longer adventure.
